ABOUT ANTOINE

 

Antoine D. Williams is a proud native of Chicago, IL. He is an award-winning actor, filmmaker, print model, musician, podcaster, evangelist and social media influencer. Williams started acting at the age of 10. In 2004, he performed his first lead role as Rev. Daniel Kool-Breeze in the hit comedy stage play 'The Little Folk's Church'.

 

Williams received his Associate of Arts & Sciences from Southside Virginia Community College (2009), Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications (2013), and Master of Arts in Media Management (2015) both from Virginia State University. As a media professional, he has served as a Media Specialist, Broadcast Engineer, Audio Visual Technician, Director of Photography, and Freelance Photographer & Filmmaker at various universities and film production companies. Williams is also IMDb® credited in the following roles.

In 2003, he received an Ebbie Award for Best Supporting Actor for the stage play 'His Hands' and another Ebbie Award for Best Lead Actor in the stage play 'The Villager' in 2005. In 2017, he won a Laurel Award for Best Actor at the Christian Film Festival and Atlanta Film Festival for his work in the short film 'Life In 5'. Since 2016, he serves as a professional judge at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the 'Emmy Awards®.'

 

In 2018, he debuted in his first television lead role in the hit crime series TruTV’s 'For My Man' season 4. Williams also appeared in various TV commercials, online print media, fashion runway events, SHOWTIME® 'Homeland' Fox News 'Legend & Lies' Discover+ 'True Conviction' TruTV® 'The Walking Dead: The World Beyond' Hollywood motion picture 'Harriet' and Netflix 'Burning Sands'.

 

As an active actor and social media influencer, he has captured the hearts of millions around the world, posting comedic skits, gaming, and family-based content on social media. He has collaborated with popular brand deals such as Raze Energy, Speechify, Glitchers, Badsie, LUSH Cosmetics, Epic Games and more. He is scheduled to launch a podcast show on iHeart Radio soon. Williams is the Founder and CEO of HollywoodStyle Entertainment, LLC and signed under Liquid Talent Agency while represented by Curry Management.

 

Before joining VSU, Williams taught multimedia arts and animation courses at Longwood University, The Art Institute of Virginia Beach, The Art Institute of Atlanta, Miami International University of Art & Design, Virginia State University, and Southern New Hampshire University. Williams is now the Assistant Professor and Media Manager for the VSU Department of Mass Communications. He is also pursuing a PhD in Communication from Regent University.
